Giving Day

Thank you for participating in Giving Day 2017. We were able to raise over $15,000 thanks to chorus members, alumnae, family and friends. Thank you for lifting the chorus! We will post information about Giving Day 2018 in the spring.

Giving Day is an event dedicated to increasing giving to Cornell during a 24-hour period. This is a great opportunity for alumni, students, and others to give back to Cornell, and the organizations which defined their time on the Hill, including the Chorus!

Gifts to the Chorus designated on Giving Day will go toward the Chorus Endowment as we strive towards our $1 million endowment goal. We will work together to collectively contribute a $10,000 gift to the Endowment. As an added bonus, this year, for every $5,000 raised, a donor will contribute $1,000!

Your gifts could be used in the following ways:

$75 could cover music for three students for the year
$100 could cover travel costs for our commissioning project composer every year
$200 could buy a student a seat on a bus for tour every year
$500 could buy a student a plane ticket on a domestic or international tour every year

This year, Cornell has implemented hourly challenges. Check them out on the following page.
